Thomas Blondet, No Dibby Dibby Sound

The latest release from Rhythm and Culture comes from Thomas Blondet. No Dibby Dibby Sound’ is a slab of Latin flavored reggae funk destined for the dancefloor. Sweet horns float in and out over tight percussion, giving the track a nice thick sound. The dubbed out vocals are perfect on top of the beats as well.
‘Dub Steppa’ on the flip side comes correct with deep dub vibes in a roots style. The creeping bassline is the perfect backbone on which the tune rides. This track features New York’s Subatomic Sound skanking away on rhythm guitar and adding some smooth melodica. Blondet’s previous releases such as the Echo Chamber EP and his See-I productions have really helped him come into his own as a skilled producer.
